Feminity is a blessing

Living in the 21st century and thinking  "Girl child" to be a curse could be ranked one among the most shameful acts committed in the present generation. The orthodox wishes for a son in the family is prevalent in most parts, despite the modernization. No matter how much we emphasize on the capability of a girl , some sick people will keep on believing that daughters are curse. 

It is very difficult for me to confront discrimination based on sex specially living in a country like India where Goddesses are worshiped. The richness of our Indian history is based on the power of women. It has been witnessed how a woman waged wars, supported their family and sacrificed selflessly for the betterment of others. It must be noted that women have always been a supreme source of power. 

The first thing that clicks my mind hearing the word "feminity" is motherhood. Every woman possess the characteristics of a mother. Their unique caring nature segregates them. They form the backbone of our mankind. I staunchly believe that men and women are equal in every field , but a woman is superior in terms of motherhood. They are the reason for the continuation of the human race. It is not easy as it sounds to keep a foetus in your womb for 280 days. We men can't even imagine the pain she bears. It is necessary for us to stand beside women and support them. 

Ever imagined how would you have felt if you bleed every month? Or for your comfort once in six months?  Sounds painful right. That's what we call 'periods' . In spite of laughing seeing the blood stains on a girl's pants, you should be protective and caring towards her. That's damn natural. You must understand how a girl feels during that time. Two minutes silence for those who are laughing even after reading this. 

Don't think that educating daughters is a wastage of money. They must be educated so that they could achieve great  heights. A woman has the potential to match a man in every realm. There is hardly any milestone left that a woman has not achieved. Either in defense or in beauty pageant championship, women have proven their abilities. 

When a boy is born in a family, the members celebrate it in an extravagant way. On the contrary, the scenario is entirely changed when a girl child is born. These contraries might initially make you feel that it is a curse to be born a girl, but trust me , all women are blessings. Think of a world without our mother, and you will realise how you are blessed to have her. 

Stop judging girls! Just stop. They don't need your judgement. If possible , provide them justice, that has been delayed. Help them fight for their rights, make them believe every moment that they are a blessing. Give them freedom. Hold her hands and promise to love her to eternity.

Who is she? A caring mother, a lovable sister, a  loyal friend, a loving daughter, a supportive life partner. As said rightly:

" A WOMAN IS EITHER SUCCESSFUL OR BEHIND SOMEONE'S SUCCESS."

Despite a thousand cases of rape, molestation,acid attacks are filed, no severe steps are taken , or are taken in a few cases. The fact that after all the hardships, women stand with endurance and achieve their goal made me believe-
